We're back!  Access to Kidz Kingdom is limited to volunteers and parents dropping off children on Sundays between the hours of 8:30a - 1:00p and Wednesdays between 6:30p - 8:00p. Parents will check in children on the lower level at the Paseo campus.

Senior Fitness & Bible Study
Join us at the Paseo Campus Wednesdays from 11a-11:30a for light to moderate exercise done from the comfort of a chair!  A trained fitness expert will guide you through exercises that help strengthen your body.  Then, stay for Bible Study from 11:30a -12:30p and get strengthened in the spirit!  Feel free to bring a dish and join us for the potluck lunch following our study time.

Volunteer opportunities available at St. James UMC! We will match your passion with a ministry needs such as:  Ushers, Van Driver, Audio/Visual and Sound, Parking Lot Greeters, Welcome Station, and Children and Youth Ministries.

Scholarship Opportunities
If you are a high school senior, please forward your contact information to Yvette Richards at yrichards@stjamesumc.com.  Applications are now available for graduating high school seniors who are current members of St. James UMC, see how you can apply online by clicking here.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN  Applications for the Catherine A. Davis Memorial Book Scholarship Award are now available.  This Scholarship Award is available to a young African American female who is a member of St. James United Methodist Church and is a 2018 graduating senior.  The application and award criteria can be obtained from Yvette Richards at yrichards@stjamesumc.com.  All applications must be submitted by June 8, 2018, to the United Methodist Women Scholarship Award Committee, c/o Carolyn Celestine.  For additional information or questions please contact Yvette Richards or Carolyn Celestine at 816.820.6015 or rccelestine@att.net.

Nursing Scholarship  The Health Ministry is accepting applications for the Bessie Thompson Fleming Nursing Scholarship.  Applicants must be a member of St. James UMC and enrolled in a Baccalaureate degree nursing program which begins in the Fall of 2017 or January of 2018.  Proof of acceptance and other documents are required.  Contact Meredith Shellner at lionmets@msn.com - Subject Line: Nursing Scholarship or 816 506-5204.

Mr. Bill Johnson Youth Scholarship*  Renewals for the Mr. Bill Johnson Book Scholarship must complete the book scholarship application and provide a copy of their college transcript reflecting their student status and current cumulative GPA.  Applications must be postmarked by June 15, 2018.
